Curator of rare books and manuscripts at the Music Division, where I have processed many collections, including those of Ernst Oster (Heinrich Schenker), Bruno Walter, and John Cage.  Interest especially in Music Theory, Schenkerian Analysis, Music Biblioraphy, Film Music (and Bernard Herrmann), Silent Film Music. 

Have also big interests in librarianship issues, management, Web 2.0 and Library 2.0.

Got my PhD from the Graduate Center/CUNY where my dissertation was:  "Bernard Herrmann's Radio Music for the 'Columbia Workshop.'"
